Crystal Magic

Dear Universe,

I took my kids to a crystal shop yesterday (which I didn’t photograph because, well, I was managing 2 small kids in a crystal shop…).

They found an old stone collection of mine at home when we moved and have gotten super interested in “magic” rocks.

Now, I don’t know if I believe in “crystals” and their magical powers – that a whatsit green one can bring you luck and the blue one peace or whatever.

But I do believe it is absolutely incredible that our earth spent thousands and thousands (millions?) of years and how many bazillion tons of pressure to make this beautiful piece of itself that I get to experience – the weight, the texture, the color, the brilliance – right in the palm of my hand…

If that isn’t magic, I’m not sure I know what is.
